Essential Wellness Acupuncture offers the following services:

Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Assessment:
Assessment of Individual Condition: Initial consultation will last approximately 90 minutes to two hours. The client’s primary complaints will be discussed in detail, as well as additional information regarding their health history and current health status. A variety of diagnostic tools, including interviewing, tongue viewing, pulse reading, palpation and muscle testing will be utilized to develop a treatment plan that is catered to the individual. A similar, but less exhaustive, assessment will take place prior to every subsequent treatment session.

Personalized Treatment:
The tools of Classical and Traditional Chinese Medicine will be utilized to devise an appropriate treatment for each individual. Needles will be inserted into specific acupuncture points in order to facilitate a return to homeostasis.

  • Cupping: Involves applying a glass or plastic dome to the skin to form suction in order to release stagnation in the tissue.
